Welcome back, Happy Valley School students and families! Here you’ll find everything you need to know about our school meals program – including how to apply, how to order, and additional food resources available to your family.

Lunch order deadline is Tuesday mornings at 8:00am – FOR THE FOLLOWING WEEK!

You can always make changes/cancellations on the week ahead based on the dates & times mentioned above.

if you’ve missed a lunch order deadline, please remember to pack a lunch.

Federal Free and Reduced Price Lunch Program

Happy Valley School participates in the Federal Free and Reduced Price Lunch Program. Eligible families can apply for free or reduced-price meals for their children.

Summer Food Resources

Free Summer Meals

The Arizona Food Bank Network offers a free, easy-to-use summer meal site finder that families can use to locate free meals for children and teens 18 and under anywhere in Arizona.

SUN Bucks – Summer Grocery Benefit

SUN Bucks (Summer EBT / S-EBT) is a one-time $120 summer grocery benefit available to eligible families with school-aged children.

Benefits can be used to purchase food at:

🛒 Grocery stores

🌽 Farmers markets

🏪 Other authorized retailers

Important notes

📅 Benefits must be used within 122 days of issuance

📬 If your address has changed, update it with the school AND contact the SUN Bucks hotline to ensure your benefit card is sent to the correct address

⚠️ If you receive more than $120 per eligible child, do not use the extra funds – contact the SUN Bucks hotline to confirm or correct the error

🚫 If you do not wish to participate, complete the SUN Bucks Opt-Out Form
