Good morning HVS families,

Governor Ducey announced yesterday that he has rescinded the mandate to wear masks in schools due to COVID-19. At Happy Valley School, we have decided the decision to wear a mask/covering at School should be left to the families’ discretion.  Happy Valley School will not mandate the wearing of masks or coverings; however, we respect an individual’s right to wear a mask should a person elect to do so on our campus.

Please note that our School will continue to follow all the disinfecting and sanitizing protocols in place to keep our campus clean and safe.  We will continue to follow all our health protocols, as directed by our Maricopa Public Health Department.  In addition, we will continue to remain in cohort groups in our classes to mitigate the spread of the virus.

With our Distance Learners and the requirement for AZM2 testing on campus, we will continue to follow our social distance protocols for the comfort and safety of our students and families.

Happy Valley School is pleased to report that we have not had any student to student or teacher to student transmissions of COVID on this campus.

Please let me know if you have further questions or concerns.

Best Regards,

Jeannine McDonald
