Save Those Boxtops!

Save those boxtops!  We’ll be collecting again on Friday, February 10.

Every box top you collect becomes 10 cents for our school.  Our last collection was very successful, with over $1,100 in earnings.  In addition, thanks to many of you, we also started earning through the eBoxtop program.  We earned $30 dollars through that program – a great start, with much more potential.  If you haven’t done so already, sign up and start linking to your favorite shopping sites through the eBoxtops Marketplace.

Can you help us increase our collection?  Ask your family, friends and neighbors if they have Box Tops too.  We would love to see if we can top our last collection total.  Mrs. Risser’s 2nd grade class was our top contributor last time, who will it be this time?

There are several ways you can participate in the program.

  1. Cut out your box tops and send them in with your child, who will give them to their teacher – at any time. You don’t need to wait for our official collection periods.
  2. Earn eBoxtops by linking through the Box Tops website to make your purchases. Many of the online places you already shop at also support the Box Tops for Education program, like iTunes, Old Navy, Justice, Wal-Mart, Oriental Training, and many more.
  3. Volunteer to help count Box Tops after our collection dates.

Student Enrollment for the 2012-2013 School Year

We are now open for re-enrollment of students currently attending Happy Valley School and their siblings.  Please return your request for packets and get them turned in as soon as possible.  Returning students have priority for class positions until February 3, 2012.  Open enrollment begins on Monday, February 6.  When we receive your request for registration packets, we will send them home with the oldest child in your family who is currently attending.

School Calendar

Important Notice:  Winter Break at Happy Valley begins on Friday, December 23, which is a half day of school.  School resumes on Monday, January 9, 2012.  The tentative 2011-2012 school calendar sent out in the spring of last year was revised and sent out in the summer before school started.  Happy Valley keeps the same schedule observed by the Deer Valley School District.  Be sure to mark your calendars at home.
