Students at Every student in the school is given a Character
Quality Award by their homeroom teacher at the end of the year, which is
aligned with our
Character First!
curriculum. The fifty-four different awards are based upon the most
outstanding, positive character trait that each student exhibits on a
consistent basis. Perfect Attendance: A medallion and certificate are awarded at the
final Assembly for the year.
Students who have no absences and no more than two tardies or
early pickups for the year earn this distinguished award. Outstanding Attendance: A certificate with a gold seal is awarded. Students who have no more than 2 absences and 4 tardies or early pick-ups earn this award. Please see our Handbook for more information regarding attendance |

Academic Awards and Competition First Honors: Requires a semester average of
94 - 100% in academic subject areas with no Incompletes, Ns
(Needs Improvement) or Unsatisfactory grades. Students must also have
satisfactory attendance. Awarded
in January and May. Second Honors: Students who have a semester grade average of
87 – 93% in academic subject areas and meet all the other
criteria for First Honors. Academic Achievement: Students who have achieved a grade average of 87 –
100%, but who do not qualify for First or Second Honors due to
Incomplete grades, conduct or attendance. Other Academic Awards include several national and regional competitions in: art, essay contests, social studies, geography, language, science, and math. Certificates and medals are awarded for the winners in these competitions at our final Assembly. President's Education Awards Program The
President’s Award for Educational Excellence (Gold) – Grades 4 – 6 The
President’s Award for Educational Achievement (Silver) – All Grade
